Welcome to the Gottorf Castle's Museum of Archaeology!
The Archaeological Museum Schloss Gottorf is housed on Schleswig’s museum island in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein. It owns more than 10 million findings from 80,000 years’ human history. Many of these were discovered in the northernmost Federal State of Germany. The museum presents selected exhibits in its exhibitions, including objects as spectacular as the Nydam boat and the bog bodies.
